The Baptist, A Rock Opera original cast album was recorded beginning early 2007. With Eric Winzenried (John the Baptist) in California and James Gulisano (composer, musician, recording engineer) in New Jersey, a cross-country collaboration took place. The Internet was this project's friend, as files were transferred back and forth across the states. Winzenried recorded his vocals in CA and Gulisano embedded those tracks into the masters back in NJ.

 

The hunt began for a cast, and through word-of-mouth the cast slowly grew to contain a great mix of talented performers, who breathed life into Gulisano's words. The Baptist: a Rock Opera was completed on November 16, 2008 and is now available for purchase for just $20!.  It's a double CD -- the entire show!
